Easy Sweet Soy Tri-Tip Roast

Certified Angus Beef Tri-Tip Roast, 2-3 Pounds
Soy Sauce, 1 Cup
Brown Sugar, 1 1/2 Cup
Minced Garlic, 1 Tablespoon
Minced Ginger, 1 Tablespoon

- 2-3 pounds Certified Angus Beef Tri-Tip Roast
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
Directions
- To prepare the marinade, in a mixing bowl, add in soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix until the brown sugar is dissolved.
- Put the tri-tip roast cut in a ziplock bag, then add the marinade mix. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the fridge for 6-10 hours or overnight.
- When ready, grill the tri-tip roast to your desired temperature. Aim for the internal temperature to be between 130-140F.
- Slice and serve with your favorite veggies or on a bed of asparagus.
This marinade itself is very versatile. It can be used to cok other recipes with chicken, salmon, or even spam musubi!
